Once Upon A Rhyme is a traditional pantomime but based on nursery rhyme characters. It is a brand new story penned by David Ashton and Daniel Hewitt, with original music composed by Tom Hewitt. Additional music is from Adrian Marple, who composed songs for the first version Once Upon A Rhyme, performed in February 1992.

The Crooked Man attempts to seize control of the kingdom, ruled by the King and Queen of Hearts, by damaging the economy on which it is run. He is aided by his henchmen, Eeny-Meany and Miny-Mo. However, once he kidnaps the heroine, Bo-Peep, and her sheep, our hero, Tommy Tucker, is determined to beat him assisted (or hindered) by the café owner, Mother Hubbard, and her entourage, which includes Simple Simon, and her children, Jack and Jill.
